Rafiq is back where he always knew he’s end up: telling stories in new and innovative ways. A veteran of the first internet book, Rafiq has wide experience in user-centered design, software engineering, and product management. Beginning his career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Rafiq went on to build strategic consumer products for clients in telecom, high tech, media/entertainment, and financial services at digital agencies including Sapient. He later ran his own startup advisory service firm, and became a founding member of the startup EssTec. Prior to founding Demibooks, Rafiq designed user experiences for mobile products and services at Motorola where he worked on the patent-published design of the industry’s first socially-connected phonebook, now available on Motorola’s Android smartphones that feature MOTOBLUR™. Rafiq is based in Chicago.

Andrew is a creative technologist who is passionate about making things better, faster, stronger, and more organized. Andy’s background in games technology and computer science includes designing and developing mobile applications and technology platforms for corporations including Disney, Motorola, and Hutchinson. Before founding Demibooks, Andy worked on 3D character-based iPhone entertainment apps for iNAGO in Japan, and at Australian startups Tilefile and Storyz on social networking services.

Chris has spent the last several years working with some of the largest and most innovative clients in Australia. His expertise in experience architecture engineering ranges from delivering the end-to-end user experience vision at an investment bank to providing designs for cutting edge medical user interfaces to developing mobile interfaces for the entertainment and educational sector.

Daniel is a seasoned technology architect and games developer. While at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Dan worked on games across multiple platforms, such as PC, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 2. His best known titles include Medieval: Resurrection, Heavenly Sword, 24: The Game, Eyetoy: Kinetic Combat, and Little Big Planet PSP.
