Rafiq is back where he always knew he’d end up: telling stories in new and innovative ways. He has two decades experience in the design, development and management of consumer electronic products, and in leading cross-functional global teams. Rafiq designed user experiences for mobile products and services at Motorola Mobility, where he led the patented design of the industry’s first socially-connected phonebook. Prior to that he was at digital agency Sapient, mobile apps startup EssTec, and management consultants PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Rafiq has a BS in Electrical Engineering from WV Wesleyan College and an MBA from Virginia Tech, where he also studied Information Systems. He is a frequent speaker at digital publishing and mobile technology conferences.
Daniel leads product development at Demibooks. He is a seasoned technology architect and games developer. While at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Dan worked on games across multiple platforms like the PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP. His best known titles include Medieval: Resurrection, Heavenly Sword, 24: The Game, Eyetoy: Kinetic Combat, and Little Big Planet PSP. Daniel has a BS in Computer Science (Game Technologies) from Charles Stuart University in Australia.
